Evelina Smane, the visionary founder of Voice International, is dedicated to creating meaningful change and empowering communities around the world. Since childhood, Evelina has been inspired by the compassion of Mother Teresa and the selfless dedication of Princess Diana, which ignited her deep passion for serving the marginalized and forgotten.
Born and raised in Riga, Latvia, Evelina’s journey took a transformative turn at the age of 15 when she encountered the love of Jesus. This profound experience reshaped her life, setting her on a path of unwavering faith and commitment to helping others. Evelina’s first mission trip at the age of 18 took her to a Gypsy camp in Ukraine, where she discovered her deep calling to serve those in need.
Since 2011, Evelina has been organizing impactful programs in children’s homes, elderly houses, and hospitals in her home country, laying the foundation for a life of service. In 2014, she began serving in Tanzania, Africa, as a missionary evangelist, establishing transformative community programs that continue to thrive to this day. Evelina also extended her mission work to other African countries and India, bringing hope and care to those most in need. Her work in Tanzania remains a vital part of her legacy, with plans to expand into other countries and continents, bringing transformative change to even more communities worldwide.
Over the years, Evelina has established community programs, led outreach initiatives, and provided vital assistance to hundreds of children in need. Her extensive hands-on experience equips her to lead with wisdom, compassion, and innovation. In addition to these efforts, Evelina has played a key role in building a school and multiple churches in Tanzania. By raising funds, overseeing construction projects, and managing teams of workers, she has ensured that these structures become centers of education, worship, and transformation for the communities they serve.
